    On Friday, April 4th, West High School’s Student Council hosted their annual coffee house event in which students, staff, and alumni showcase their many talents! There is also plenty of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as well as some art activities to participate in.

    On March 21st, our WHS and WJHS music students showcased their talents in front of a large crowd in the WHS auditorium at the Music in Our Schools Month concert! All of our students and directors did an outstanding job!

  • WHS Esports Night

    WHS’s Student Council held their annual Esports night on Friday, February 28th. Students enjoyed lots of video and virtual reality games as well as other fun competitive events and competitions. There were great prizes, a Photo Booth, and food trucks on hand for all to enjoy.

    Our West High School art and music honor societies held their annual induction ceremonies on Wednesday. Congratulations to all of the students for their outstanding academic achievement, community service, and achievement in the arts! Thank you to our advisors for a wonderful evening!

  • Pancake breakfast

    On Saturday, December 14th, WHS's Student Council held their annual pancake breakfast. Many local businesses donate the supplies for the event each year, and all of the proceeds benefit families in need within our district during the holidays.

    The WHS choirs presented their holiday concert titled “Sounds of the Season”. Our students all did a fantastic job! Thank you to our choral director, Mrs. Parry, our students, our music parents, and all who made the concert a success!

  • Pride of the Mountain and Tailgate

    Friday was an unforgettable night on the Mountain and the ultimate #WestPride🏔️ moment - yellow socks for Think Big, Barbie night in the Panther Pit, senior night, a soft opening of our new wellness center, a preview of the new scoreboard, and the 5th year in a row we won the Pride of the Mountain trophy! 🏆 So proud of all of our students and staff! What a great end to our #FridayNightLights season!

  • Homecoming Dance

    West High School held their annual homecoming dance on Thursday, October 10th. The theme of the dance was the Ancient Greece Olympics. Students enjoyed food and drinks, dancing, and fun games where they could win tokens to vote for their choice for homecoming queen. Everyone had a fun time.
